“Battle of the Stars” Featuring Lionel Messi has been cancelled

The highly anticipated “Battle of the Stars” soccer game featuring Lionel Messi and a big selection of the World’s most famous soccer stars has been cancelled today.

Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) July 03, 2013
This event was scheduled for Wednesday, July 3rd at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, as part of a World Tour. There have been many different versions explaining the causes of this cancellation that affects the fans that were expecting to witness this historical soccer match, the City of Los Angeles and the many sponsors who put their trust and brands behind the event.

All the sponsors were in shock when they heard the news. After a long day at the Coliseum setting up our tents and banners and seeing the excitement of all the sponsors: “the event had been cancelled” was the rumor everybody was saying. Throughout the day it was obvious the lack of organization and many questions were asked to the event representatives. “They told us that the promoter was in a meeting trying to solve some details. After over 5 hours they finally came out to let us know that the event was cancelled,” JJ Ocampo, Promotions Manager at Adriana’s Insurance Services Inc. stated.
"In all the years I've been doing live events, I have never encountered a situation like this. It's unfortunate because the only losers in this scenario are the fans that were looking forward to the game, and the City of Los Angeles," said Ralina Shaw - VP of Public Relations, El Padrino Spirits, Inc.

"After hours of trying to convince Lionel Messi's management team to fulfill their contractual agreement and come to Los Angeles, it is clear they have no respect for these fans and this market. We feel that this is a blatant attempt to defraud American citizens and businesses that sponsored this event," said Todd Graham - CEO, El Padrino Spirits, Inc.

"We have no words to express our disappointment and frustration. As a brand we invested many hours of work and thousands of dollars but most importantly, we put our name next to the events name, and in front of our community. We regret sponsoring this event and hope that the authorities penalize whoever is responsible of this mess. In representation of Adriana’s Insurance I want to announce that those who purchased tickets at our locations are welcomed to visit us for a full refund.” Ines Calderon - Marketing Director, Adriana's Insurance Services Inc.

Spring Break Insurance

Distracted driving is one of the leading causes of car crashes in the world. According to the National Safety Council there has been an estimated 201,543 car crashes in the United States involving drivers using cell phones and texting. This number is increased about every 24 seconds. With spring break right around the corner for most high schools and colleges, there will be many distracted drivers on the road. For most of these teens and young adults, they have a mind set of partying and engaging in excessive binge drinking. According to the Journal of American College Health spring breakers will consume 18 drinks a day for guys and 10 for girls. MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) is a widely known organization that encourages families to educate one another against drunk driving. Their mission statement includes, “The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking.” MADD states that every 53 minutes on average, someone is killed in a drunk driving crash. They also claim that Americans take about 233 billion trips in cars each year. About one out of every two thousand trips is taken by those who are driving under the influence of alcohol. Unfortunately, almost one out of every three traffic deaths involves drunk driving. MADD has provided their readers with tons of statistics and important information. To read more about their organization you can visit http://www.madd.org/ .Thousands of these trips will be taken during spring break. The list goes on and on with statistics, but only you can make a difference to protect yourself and the ones you love. Adriana’s Insurance promotes safety in all aspects and would like to encourage these teens and young adults to be extra cautious this spring break. We offer affordable and reliable insurance at our southern California locations. Many of these partiers will be involved in car, boat, and other vehicle collision’s and we want you to be insured. For more information please visit our website at http://adrianasinsurance.com/english/ . We would like to encourage all spring breakers to have a fun and safe week during your break.

The SR-22. Most people probably have a very vague idea of what it is. Maybe you’ve had a friend who needed one or you understand vaguely that it has to do with car insurance. But does anyone really know what an SR-22 is? Is it something you get from the DMV or your car insurance company? Does everyone have to have one?

It seems that most people don’t know much about SR-22s. And that’s fine. As long as you practice safe driving and don’t let your insurance lapse, you’ll never need one. But just in case, here are a few SR-22 insurance basics to help keep you in the know.

An SR-22 — also known as SR-22 insurance or Certificate of Financial Responsibility (CFR) — isn’t a type of car insurance, but verification that you’re maintaining car insurance liability coverage. An SR-22 form is a state-mandated certificate filed by your car insurance carrier with your state’s Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

Who needs an SR-22?

An SR-22 is required when someone who was in an accident or convicted of a traffic offense couldn’t show financial responsibility. For example, you’d need an SR-22 if you were caught driving without car insurance.

You might also need an SR-22 if you had any of the following:
  • A DUI or DWI or any serious moving violation
  • An at-fault accident while driving without insurance
  • Repeat traffic offenses or too many tickets in a short time period
  • A revoked or suspended license
What does an SR-22 cost?

If you need an SR-22, however, you’ll first need to purchase a car insurance policy. Your car insurance rate will be determined based on all the factors that normally go into rating a policy. However, keep in mind that car insurance companies generally consider drivers who need an SR-22 riskier to insure, so your car insurance rates will likely reflect the risk.

We recommend shopping around, but remember, the cheapest SR-22 insurance quotes may not be the best. You should always consider the company’s service, financial responsibility, and reliability when making an insurance purchase of any kind.

How do I get an SR-22?

To obtain an SR-22, you’ll need to go through your car insurance provider. Only an insurance company that is filed with the state can issue SR-22s. You can request a free quote at http://adrianasinsurance.com/get_a_quote/quote/.

Most states require drivers to carry SR-22 insurance for 3 years. In that time, continuous coverage must be maintained. If there is an insurance lapse or cancellation, your car insurance company is legally obligated to notify the DMV and your license will be suspended.

How can I avoid an SR-22 requirement?

You can avoid the complication and expense involved with an SR-22 filing by simply maintaining your car insurance and practicing safe driving.
Here are a few useful reminders:
  • Don’t drink and drive. DUIs and DWIs are the most common reasons for needing to file an SR-22 certificate.
  • Drive safe. Not only can too many moving violations result in an SR-22, they can significantly increase your car insurance premiums.
  • Don’t drive without insurance. If you don’t have car insurance and you’re pulled over, you’ll be required to prove financial responsibility by way of an SR-22.
Bottom line: Drive carefully and stay insured and you’ll never need to know any more than this about the SR-22.

Minimum Auto Insurance Coverage in California
California State requires minimum insurance coverage of 15/30/5. What does that mean?
Minimum liability limits of 5/30/5 refer to $5,000 bodily injury liability per person, $30,000 per accident, and $5,000 for property damage. Insurance requirements vary from State to State.
Why would I want to buy more insurance than safe law requires?
If you are found to be liable for an amount greater than the coverage limits of your policy, you must pay the difference. If you don’t have enough cash, the injured party can go after your home, financial assets, and even future earnings. It’s wise to consider increasing your liability limits when you own a house or other valuables assets.

Why does a high deductibles cause my premium to go down?
Generally, the more risk you assume, the less risk you assign to be insurance company, which charges according to how much risk it is insuring against. A deductible is the initial dollar amount of a loss that you must assume before the insurance company will pay your claim. Auto insurance deductibles typically range from $250 to $1,000.

What effect does my driving record have on my auto insurance?
A good driving record is critical to your ability to obtain auto insurance. If your past is free of tickets, accidents, and drunk driving arrests, chances are excellent that you will pay much less than the person who has a history of these infractions.

Why does my insurance company want to know my age?
Statistically, the risk of an automobile accident fluctuates with age. Teenagers are among the most expensive drivers to insure because their inexperience makes them more likely to be in an accident than drivers over age 25.

Just as a teenager will have to pay more for being young and inexperienced, drivers can expect to pay less as they reach the age range where they are statically the safest on the road, roughly from ages 40 to 55. In some cases, rates may go up as a driver becomes elderly.

I have heard of States with no-fault laws and PIP coverage. How does that differ from states with standard coverage?
There are some States with various forms of no-fault insurance. Generally, no-fault laws is each person involved in an auto accident to pay his or her own medical expenses and lost wages – and stricter versions disallow certain pain-and-suffering lawsuits. Therefore, many no-fault states require drivers to have Personal Injury Protection (PIP), which pays extensive medical expenses, lost wages, and a small death benefit for the driver and all passengers. PIP usually comes with 20 percent deductibles. In some states, both no-fault and PIP coverage are optional.
